Job Summary

Assist clients with originating residential mortgage loans by analyzing needs and recommending home lending solutions. Prospect and develop referrals, originate and process mortgage transactions, and serve as the primary point of contact from application through closing. Provide guidance on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms while maintaining client satisfaction and loan quality. Work in a branch environment providing in-person services 4+ days/week and stay current on real estate and mortgage industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect for home lending business to build new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process residential real estate mortgage transactions in line with home lending process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather loan documents at registration and remain the primary point of contact during the loan process through closing.
•Maintain client satisfaction and loan quality, stay current on real estate and mortgage industry trends, and ensure sales/originator systems and workflows are controlled.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•3+ years experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, and related mortgage laws and regulations (preferred).
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong customer service skills and proficiency in sales/service skills, including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking, and COI relationship management.
