Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare patient charts by ensuring imaging, lab results, reports, and documentation are loaded in the medical record.
  • •Room patients, perform intake (medical history review, quality/MIPS questions, medication reconciliation, vitals), and provide provider handoff.
  • •Load imaging into the RadiAnt image viewer before visits and prepare procedure trays for in-office injections (e.g., Botox, Xeomin).
  • •Support clinical administration by triaging provider inboxes, routing patient portal messages/forms, and obtaining prior authorizations via CoverMyMeds and payer portals.
  • •Manage medications and clinic operations: coordinate specialty pharmacy deliveries, fax orders for imaging/labs, pre-fill FMLA/disability forms, draft appeal letters, and manage medication samples/inventory.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical Assistant certification or diploma (CMA, RMA, CCMA or similar).
  • •Experience in a medical office or specialty clinic.
  • •Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills.

  • •Neurology, injections, phlebotomy, or prior authorization experience is a plus (training available).
