Job Summary

As a Service Engineer for Miele Professional, you will install, service and repair a range of professional appliances for B2B clients in the Brugge region. You’ll diagnose technical issues, perform repairs and program adjustments, train users, manage spare parts in your service van, and report to the Field Service Manager. A Miele Academy training path supports career progression.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform interventions at customer sites including starting up, maintaining and repairing professional machines (e.g., washing machines, dryers, sterilisers, desinfection devices)
•Identify and repair technical faults; perform repairs or program adjustments using the best tools and a laptop
•Educate users on optimal usage and maintenance of the equipment
•Manage spare parts inventory in the service van and restock from home as needed
•Provide administrative reporting after each intervention and report to the Field Service Manager

Key Requirements

•Technical education level A2, Graduaat or Bachelor in Elektromechanica, Elektriciteit of Elektronica (or equivalent by experience)
•At least 5 years of experience as a field technician; experience with professional and/or medical electrotechnical devices is a plus
•Strong customer facing and communication skills; able to deliver premium service
•Fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of English to follow trainings and understand technical documentation
•Good PC/IT skills and ability to connect systems to laptops or client networks; able to diagnose quickly and accurately and work independently
