Operate machinery for testing, troubleshoot installation issues, and handle ignition system replacement and CAN-network wiring in varied scenarios. Serve as a brand advocate while supporting installation travel across the region, including occasional after-hours/weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

•Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction/heavy equipment, and customer assets.
•Operate machinery during installation for testing purposes.
•Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
•Handle installation scenarios including basic power/ignition/ground and more complex setups requiring custom wiring harnesses for CAN network access.
•Identify and resolve problems, gather/analyze information, develop alternatives, and travel to client sites or rental yards for installations.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
•Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, with strong attention to detail.
•Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) and/or mobile electronics installation experience.
•Clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, and be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen.
•Open to traveling within a 250-mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time, with ability to drive and perform physical tasks (e.g., lift 25+ lb).
