Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in implementing short- and long-term objectives of the Supervision Section.
  • •Support development and implementation of supervisory framework, policies, rules, and procedures for financial institutions.
  • •Supervise firms’ compliance with relevant rules and regulations and contribute to periodic impact/risk assessments.
  • •Perform periodic risk assessments, draft and execute supervisory work plans, and draft/communicate recommendations.
  • •Conduct ongoing analysis of prudential condition and conduct of business, ensure compliance with the Financial Crime Prevention framework, and follow up on deficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •6–8+ years of experience in financial supervision or industry experience in one or more financial sectors, ideally insurance.
  • •Strong knowledge of insurance sector regulations, products, services, and market practices.
  • •Good knowledge of Financial Crime Prevention regulations and requirements.
  • •Good communication skills in writing and orally, with ability to influence and negotiate.
  • •Bachelor’s degree; desirable education includes Finance/Banking/Accounting, Risk Management, Law, or related disciplines.
