Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical oversight of design staff and team members for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, sewage collection systems, pump stations, storage tanks, and treatment systems.
  • •Identify new business opportunities, coordinate and participate in client project presentations, and promote AECOM capabilities to existing and prospective clients.
  • •Evaluate project opportunities, support consultant selection, and prepare qualification/experience statements.
  • •Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, including drafting complex professional service agreements and addenda.
  • •Prepare and manage project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget; direct project teams and monitor subcontractor compliance, and supervise technical professionals as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline) plus eight (8) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license in Colorado, with ability to obtain one within first 6 months of employment.
  • •Experience working on municipal projects.
  • •Experience and familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, SWMM, and/or Storm/Sewer/WaterCAD.
  • •Proven interpersonal skills including client interaction, public speaking, persuasive ability, plus strong project financial management and ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplined teams.
