Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide professional HSEQ advice, guidance, and support to allocated contracts as the key point of contact for HSEQ matters.
  • •Support delivery of the Citizen Services Local & Devolved HSEQ strategy by ensuring processes and action plans are in place at contract level.
  • •Monitor HSEQ performance, KPIs, and objectives, identifying improvements and supporting teams to close out actions effectively.
  • •Conduct site inspections, audits, and engagement activities to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • •Support incident and accident management and reporting, review working procedures and risk assessments, and produce HSEQ performance reports for leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
  • •Experience in an operational HSEQ role, ideally within facilities management, leisure, environmental services, or a similar service-led environment.
  • •Strong practical knowledge of UK health and safety and environmental legislation.
  • •Experience with implementing/improving management systems and understanding ISO standards and assessment processes.
  • •Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance assessments, plus strong communication and influencing skills.
