Job Summary

Join Avanade’s Modern Workplace team as a Windows 365 Engineer to deploy and support Windows 365 Cloud PC, Intune, and Entra ID for enterprise clients. You will implement SOE, manage device security and compliance, assist migrations from legacy desktop environments, and help customers modernize their end-user computing with cloud-managed endpoints and secure configurations.

Job Function: Facilities, Workplace & Physical Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Windows 365 Solution Delivery: Deploy Windows 365 Cloud PC solutions for enterprise clients and support migrations from traditional desktop/VDI environments; configure provisioning policies, user assignments, images, and Cloud PC lifecycle management
•Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management: Implement and maintain Intune architectures, device compliance policies, configuration profiles, endpoint security policies, and Conditional Access integrations
•Microsoft Entra ID & Identity Integration: Configure Entra ID integrations supporting endpoint access and authentication; implement Conditional Access and Zero Trust security controls
•Windows 11 SOE: Maintain secure Windows 11 Standard Operating Environments (SOE), security baselines, and device hardening standards; define configuration policies and deployment methodologies
•Application Packaging & Deployment & Security: Package and deploy Win32/MSI/EXE apps; develop PowerShell-based deployment methods, deployment rings, rollback strategies, and automation workflows

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on experience with Windows 365 Cloud PC and Microsoft Intune architectures
•Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and enterprise identity integrations
•Proficiency in Windows Autopilot deployment, Windows 11 SOE, and endpoint security baseline configuration
•Experience with application packaging/deployment (Win32, MSI, MSI) and PowerShell-based automation
•Proven ability to migrate from MECM/SCCM, Citrix/VDI, and legacy endpoint management platforms to cloud-managed endpoints
