Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute instrumentation and control engineering tasks for oil & gas processing facilities across FEED, detailed design, commissioning, maintenance support, and brownfield/greenfield projects.
  • •Perform field instrumentation design work including instrument selection, sizing, datasheets, and development/review of P&IDs, I/O lists, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and material requisitions.
  • •Conduct vendor technical bid evaluations and FAT/SAT inspections, interfacing with OEMs and supporting commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • •Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain DCS/PLC/ESD/F&G systems and develop/review control system architectures, network topologies, logic diagrams, cause & effect charts, and control narratives.
  • •Perform control loop tuning, advanced control strategy review, alarm management, support system integration via communication protocols, and provide technical guidance on control system cybersecurity requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Control Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil & gas (Refinery and Petrochemicals considered), including plant design, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • •Proven track record delivering both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • •Deep technical expertise in field instrumentation, control systems, and international standards for safe, reliable, optimized operations.
  • •Excellent technical writing skills for specifications, reports, and technical studies.
