Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete assigned daily preventive maintenance (PMs) and ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
  • •Set up, visually inspect, and test machinery and equipment.
  • •Listen for unusual machine sounds, diagnose problems with supervisors/other personnel, and perform repairs.
  • •Dismantle defective equipment, install new or repaired parts, and clean/lubricate shafts, bearings, and gears.
  • •Follow GMP and safety practices (including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT) and comply with ISO 14001 procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance, or 4 years direct experience.
  • •Basic knowledge of general maintenance, hydraulic systems, electrical/electronic systems, and welding (TIG, MIG).
  • •Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with personnel and contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to follow oral/written instructions and read/execute work orders, write daily reports, and use equipment manuals.
