Support facilities operations across NSWC PCD by performing semi-skilled maintenance, repair, transportation, and setup tasks for office and event functions. Handle minor repairs (drywall, painting, plumbing fixes), preventive HVAC maintenance, inspections, and emergency preparedness activities like hurricane readiness. Operate government-owned vehicles and equipment, maintain records using the ARCHIBUS ticket system, and coordinate deliveries, space moves, and basic A/V setup.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform minor maintenance and repairs including ceiling tile replacement, drywall repair, painting/caulking, and plumbing fixes.
•Adjust/maintain doors and automatic openers; clean vents and diffusers and respond to water intrusion events.
•Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC condensate drain lines and inspect/maintain fire extinguishers and AEDs.
•Transport, install, and reconfigure office furniture and systems; inventory materials; deliver supplies and support space moves/events.
•Use the ARCHIBUS ticket system for tracking and reporting, investigate trouble calls, and support hurricane/emergency readiness tasks.

Key Requirements

•Must be a US Citizen able to pass a federal and local background and credit check to obtain a government clearance and handle CUI-level information.
•High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
•Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance or facilities support.
•Valid Florida driver’s license required.
•Ability to perform minor repairs (drywall, plumbing, painting, etc.) and work safely while maintaining detailed records.
