Job Summary

Play a hands-on player/coach role to scale Tabs’ customer implementation function. Manage and mentor a small team of Implementation Managers while leading end-to-end onboarding for complex, high-impact customers. Own strategic implementations from process mapping to configuring Tabs and managing NetSuite/QuickBooks integrations to ensure successful go-lives. Improve playbooks, workflows, and internal tooling, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to address gaps and drive scalable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and coach a small group of Implementation Managers, providing guidance and modeling best-in-class project delivery and customer communication.
•Own strategic implementations by leading end-to-end onboarding, mapping business processes, configuring Tabs, and managing NetSuite and QuickBooks integrations to ensure smooth go-lives.
•Partner with the Head of Implementation to refine playbooks, standardize workflows, and improve internal tooling and data visibility.
•Act as a customer SME by communicating accounting and revenue recognition concepts clearly and ensuring alignment between Tabs and client accounting requirements.
•Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Operations to surface implementation insights, identify product gaps, and drive improvements while tracking delivery metrics and resolving blockers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5-7 years of experience in software implementation, customer onboarding, or professional services at SaaS or fintech companies.
•Experience mentoring or managing a small team while maintaining direct ownership of key projects.
•Strong technical and accounting fluency, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and order-to-cash workflows.
•Ability to lead complex client implementations end to end, balancing speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
•Based in New York City and available to work 5 days per week in office at the Soho HQ (CPA or Big Four experience is a plus).
