Key Responsibilities

  • ā€¢Own the full fiat infrastructure domain across control plane, execution plane, and network layer, defining reusable interfaces for product teams.
  • ā€¢Maintain operational standards for corridor health, prefunding visibility, and proactive detection of issues before customers feel them.
  • ā€¢Build the engineering organization as an AI-native operation using agentic development practices while maintaining correctness for financial infrastructure.
  • ā€¢Expand Rippleā€™s fiat network by structuring banking partnerships, deploying licensing into new markets, and evaluating acquisitions to accelerate corridor or network coverage.
  • ā€¢Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and BizDev to influence global licensing strategies, navigate regulatory frameworks, and secure critical banking partnerships.

Key Requirements

  • ā€¢Deep experience operating fiat payment infrastructure across multiple corridors and jurisdictions.
  • ā€¢Strong understanding of payment rail mechanics (ACH, SWIFT, Faster Payments, SEPA and regional equivalents) including settlement timing and corridor operations.
  • ā€¢Proven experience building unified shared core infrastructure platforms used across multiple internal engineering teams.
  • ā€¢Operator mindset staying close to production to diagnose system-level constraints and balance rigor with platform evolution.
  • ā€¢Credible leadership and clear communication translating technical architecture into business consequences, including building trust across engineering, product, operations, and external counterparties.
