Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and manage project controls systems and processes, including procedures, standards, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
  • •Lead schedule assurance by validating baseline schedules, analyzing critical path/float/resource loading, monitoring milestones, and forecasting completion and recovery plans.
  • •Provide independent cost engineering and cost control by reviewing contractor cost reporting, validating expenditures/commitments, managing budgets and contingency, and forecasting Estimate at Completion.
  • •Govern change management by maintaining change systems, reviewing variation requests, assessing schedule/cost impacts, validating evidence/entitlements, and supporting approvals and negotiations.
  • •Lead progress measurement, reporting, and document control by developing performance measurement methods, producing weekly/monthly reports and dashboards, and ensuring auditable document management and turnover records.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Controls, or a related discipline.
  • •15+ years of project controls experience on major capital projects.
  • •8+ years in a senior Project Controls Manager or Project Services Manager role.
  • •Experience overseeing planning, cost control, estimating, quantity surveying, and document control functions across EPC and PMC delivery models.
  • •Experience on major mining, metals, smelting, refinery, power, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects, with strong brownfield project experience (nickel smelting/pyrometallurgical experience highly desirable).
