Job Summary

Lead one of Jetstar’s key regional airport operations at Cairns Airport, accountable for safety, operational performance, people leadership, customer outcomes, and stakeholder management. Act as the senior Jetstar representative, lead a large frontline workforce, drive continuous improvement, manage employment/industrial relations in a unionised environment, and maintain financial oversight to deliver budget outcomes and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver customer service, operational, financial, and safety outcomes for Jetstar Airways at Cairns Airport.
•Lead and develop a large frontline and leadership workforce, fostering accountability, engagement, and high performance.
•Manage people leadership including recruitment, performance management, succession planning, coaching, and development.
•Manage employment and industrial relations matters, including maintaining effective employee and union relationships.
•Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement, including financial oversight and acting as the senior escalation point for operational, stakeholder, and workforce matters.
