Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and deliver major development applications, assisting with project management and multi-disciplinary coordination.
  • •Provide planning advice on planning consent requirements and permitted development rights.
  • •Conduct planning research and analysis to support planning feasibility reports and consent strategies.
  • •Write Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements for development applications.
  • •Lead, submit, and manage planning applications, liaising and negotiating with local planning authorities and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (desirable).
  • •Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional body (desirable).
  • •Demonstrable, relevant experience working on planning applications.
  • •Sound knowledge of English planning policy and legislation.
  • •Ability to write clearly and concisely, with commercial awareness and strong client focus.
