  • •Translate system- and subsystem-level requirements into appropriately detailed mathematical and computational models.
  • •Evaluate performance, safety, and reliability through simulation, clearly communicating results and limitations.
  • •Perform concept, feasibility, and trade-off studies to inform design choices and technology development.
  • •Ensure model credibility with documentation and traceability; integrate multi-physics insights and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •5+ years of industry experience in relevant areas.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with commercial simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, CST, Sim4Life, COMSOL, MATLAB Simscape/Simulink).
  • •Programming experience in MATLAB and/or Python for model development, automation, and analysis (C/C++ is a plus).
  • •Experience in medical technology, preferably MR R&D, with a solid foundation in mechatronics, applied mathematics, and physics.
