Lead the government and regulated-markets product strategy for the Alta cloud platform, starting with Alta Video. Translate blocked government opportunities into prioritized build plans, partner closely with engineering and security, define readiness and revenue metrics, and represent the product with government buyers and auditors.

•Own the government product charter: define vision and roadmap for selling Alta into federal, state, local, and international markets.
•Drive certification programs to authorization, including end-to-end FedRAMP for Alta Video VMS and cameras.
•Build and maintain a compliance roadmap across frameworks (e.g., CJIS, StateRAMP/TexRAMP, NIS2, EU Cyber Resilience Act).
•Scope and prioritize compliance-driven product work when sales surfaces government opportunities blocked by requirements.
•Partner deeply with engineering and security on architecture, data handling, encryption, audit logging, and required deployment models; serve as the government-facing product voice.

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software.
•Experience shipping products into government or regulated markets with working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CJIS, StateRAMP, IL4/5, NIS2, or similar.
•Own complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end and drive them to hard deadlines with measurable outcomes.
•Demonstrated ability to lead coalitions you don’t manage across engineering, security, legal, and external auditors/agencies.
•Strong technical fluency to engage on architecture, data handling, encryption, and system design, mapping controls to product requirements.
