Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively manage assigned complex property claims caseload, including understanding claims coverage and potential legal liability.
  • •Investigate damages by researching with the insured, third parties, and external resources; identify discrepancies and subrogation potential.
  • •Analyze complex policy terms/contingencies to determine coverage, review prior loss history, and create Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals when appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience handling moderate-complexity losses, including writing estimates and dwelling/structural damages.
  • •Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.
  • •Proficient knowledge of residential construction.
  • •Ability to travel 50-75% of the year and/or work catastrophe duty when needed, including obtaining/maintaining an insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.
