Job Summary

Lead Zendesk’s global AI partner strategy and executive relationships at the intersection of product, engineering, CTO, and corporate strategy. You’ll co-define and execute alliance roadmaps with tier-1 GenAI and hyperscaler partners (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, and others), driving MFN technical and GTM commercialization goals. Manage and mentor the AI Partnerships director while partnering with engineering and product leaders to align agentic integration plans and advise executives on ecosystem shifts and commercialization frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as primary executive contact for Zendesk’s highest-priority AI platform relationships, building and owning C-suite executive relationships across partners.
•Co-define and iterate on Zendesk’s global AI partnerships strategy with the Director, AI Partnerships, alongside the CTO, Product, and Engineering leaders.
•Set high-level direction and provide senior leadership bridges to clear corporate and technical roadblocks, enabling day-to-day execution by the Director.
•Act as direct manager, coach, and advocate for the Director, AI Partnerships, providing mentorship and guidance for partner program execution.
•Oversee executive advisory to Zendesk’s leadership on AI ecosystem shifts, commercial frameworks, and disruptive technologies impacting business strategy.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 298,000 - 446,000 annually

Key Requirements

•15+ years of relevant experience with a track record managing high-performing partnership teams and navigating complex C-suite negotiations.
•Demonstrated experience building alliances or products alongside GenAI platform vendors, hyperscalers, and the agentic AI ecosystem.
•A blend of technology alliances expertise and technical/product acumen, comfortable discussing LLM performance variables and enterprise commercial terms.
•Deep existing networks within OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft (and other AI foundations).
•Business degree or MBA highly preferred; engineering/technical bachelor’s degree advantageous.
