Job Summary

Lead onsite systems administration for classified IT infrastructure in a highly collaborative, multi-platform environment. Manage RedHat Linux and heterogeneous Windows/RedHat enterprise services including DNS, DHCP, file sharing, storage, access management, backups, and workstation support. Troubleshoot moderate-to-high complexity issues across hardware and OS integrations, coordinate disaster recovery efforts, and partner with cybersecurity professionals to meet security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide system administration in a heterogeneous Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
•Manage Windows infrastructure services and Linux distributions including DNS, file sharing protocols, DHCP, and AD integration via LDAP.
•Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems, including integration of hardware and operating systems.
•Manage data backup uses and technologies.
•Install and configure software requested by end users while working with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or a master’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
•Must have an active and in-scope US DoD secret clearance and be a US citizen eligible for security clearance.
•Must have Linux experience.
•Experience with one of the following: Active Directory, VMware, system hardening, or disaster recovery.
•Department of Defense Directive 8140/8570 certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent), or ability to be certified within 6 months of hire.
