Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and resolve restricted-party and denied-party screening matters, including sanctions, end-user/end-use, and military end-user risks across applicable trade-control regimes.
  • •Execute KYC due diligence and conduct risk-indicator and ownership assessments.
  • •Support and improve policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for customer screening due diligence and risk-based approvals.
  • •Perform and validate human-in-the-loop (HITL) screening to confirm automated screening hits and escalations are accurately dispositioned.
  • •Analyze trade and transaction data to identify elevated risk patterns, refine diligence/screening enhancements and escalation criteria, and improve tools/workflows with IT.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of experience in export controls, sanctions, restricted-party screening, or related trade regulatory roles.
  • •Direct experience with U.S. export control and sanctions regimes (EAR, OFAC, ITAR) and restricted party list screening tools.
  • •Experience developing or maintaining trade compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • •Ability to analyze screening escalations/exceptions, synthesize facts and requirements, and provide well-supported recommendations with clear documentation.
