Job Summary

Provide specialized desktop and device support for Prisoner Enrollment and Verification Stations (PEVS) in Arlington, ensuring PCs and related peripherals (fingerprint scanners, flatbed scanners, digital cameras, signature pads, printers) remain operational. Perform tier 2 diagnostics, repair, and device replacement using government-furnished equipment, handle installs and MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) processes, configure and test hardware/applications, and support warranty, asset disposition, and proactive monitoring to minimize disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and support PEVS systems to ensure operational readiness and minimize service disruptions.
•Perform tier 2 diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair activities for PEVS hardware.
•Configure, install, and test new hardware and applications for PEVS stations.
•Replace faulty devices with government furnished equipment (GFE) while managing asset disposition per requirements.
•Handle warranty activities and coordinate with vendors as needed to support service levels.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of experience in roles related to customer service or processing/intake of persons.
•Bachelor’s degree; alternatively, 1.5 years of additional experience can substitute for one year of a typical degree program.
•Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
•Expertise in hardware maintenance and diagnostics for PEVS systems (Tier 2 support).
•Experience with warranty management and MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) processes.
