Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise end-to-end well testing execution at the wellsite, including pre-job preparation, rig-up/rig-down, pressure testing, well flow operations, sampling, data acquisition, flowback/clean-up, and demobilization.
  • •Lead and coordinate field crews, operators, subcontractors, and third-party service providers to ensure safe work execution, clear task allocation, effective shift handover, and alignment with the approved program.
  • •Verify readiness and safe operation of well testing equipment and surface testing packages, including separators, choke manifolds, flowlines, burners, tanks, sand management, pressure control equipment, and shutdown systems.
  • •Supervise critical well testing activities (pressure testing, well opening/shut-in, flow period execution, sampling, sand monitoring, flare management, fluid handling, and well control interface) in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • •Ensure documentation accuracy and full HSE compliance, including permit-to-work systems, SIMOPS controls, lifting plans, environmental controls, and stop-work authority, while acting as the senior wellsite contact for updates and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma, technical diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, with strong practical field experience in oil and gas well testing operations.
  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas well testing, surface testing, production testing, flowback, clean-up, or related wellsite service operations, including supervisory or senior wellsite leadership experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of well testing equipment and operations, including pressure control, test separators, choke manifolds, burners, tanks, flowlines, sand management, sampling, and data acquisition.
  • •Ability to supervise complex well testing programs and interpret wellsite data to evaluate operating trends, identify risks, and make operational decisions under pressure.
  • •Proven leadership coordinating crews and customer interfaces, mentoring junior personnel, and delivering safe execution aligned to HSE and environmental compliance.
