Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling directly to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned primary and secondary locations, including assessment, brief counseling, referral to resources, and follow-up
  • •Support staff and personnel at Child Development Centers, youth programs, and summer camps with counseling, parent support, training, and guidance
  • •Deliver training and health and wellness presentations, participate in base activities and health fairs
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily through smartphone or web applications to ensure accurate reporting while maintaining confidentiality
  • •Develop and maintain working relationships with community resources focused on children and youth, ensuring accessibility and adherence to site protocols

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree from an accredited Graduate Program in a Mental Health related field
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license from a State, District of Columbia, US Territory or Commonwealth that grants authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner
  • •Minimum of two years of post-license clinical experience
  • •Demonstrate intermediate-level competencies in technology and software (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Internet navigation, Smartphone/Tablet and application navigation, video-conferencing platform navigation)
  • •Ability to prove US Citizenship and must be fluent in English
