Job Summary

Analyst supporting the Special Servicing Asset Management team for KKR Real Estate Credit, handling pre-acquisition due diligence, vendor oversight, and property management/ leasing analysis for REO and pre-foreclosure assets across the U.S. Will analyze budgets, capital expenditures, hold/sell analyses, and coordinate with brokers and servicing parties to drive investment outcomes and platform growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Pre-foreclosure or Receivership: Work with Asset Managers on foreclosure, deed-in-lieu or receivership selection and appointment and complete requisite due diligence (third-party reports, entity formation, documentation, accounts).
•Active Receivership or REO: Gain property/market intelligence via site visits, review reporting for accuracy and timeliness, analyze leases and budgets, and prepare capital expenditure recommendations.
•Disposition: Assist with identifying brokers and participating in property disposition efforts, including marketing and buyer selection.
•Other: Participate in special projects to implement new technologies to support the K-Star platform.
•Travel: Willingness to travel as needed

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related field; or equivalent experience
•2+ years of related work experience in commercial real estate asset management
•Strong knowledge of commercial real estate, fixed income, and general financial concepts
•Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
•High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; willingness to travel as needed
