Key Responsibilities

  • •Meet or exceed departmental budget expectations, including managing food & beverage costs and labor costs.
  • •Assist and support kitchen management: schedule shifts with the Executive Chef, prevent unapproved overtime, complete opening/closing supervisory tasks, and support team evaluations and ongoing training.
  • •Develop cost-effective specials and menu changes with the Executive Chef and corporate food & beverage to maximize sales and guest frequency.
  • •Maintain operations by ensuring supplies are available, staff equipment training/sign-offs are completed, and equipment is kept in operable condition.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and proper execution of corporate mandates, SOPs/specs, and local health code/inspection standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years kitchen management experience with experience supervising others.
  • •Skilled in cooking plus cost controls, crew training, and development.
  • •Working knowledge of kitchen and dishwashing procedures and familiarity with food & beverage costs, labor, and product cost.
  • •Computer knowledge including Excel worksheets, databases, word processing, and Micros.
  • •College degree; able to lift at least 150 lbs., stand 10–12 hours, and tolerate extreme heat in a fast-paced environment.
