Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide efficient day-to-day support for running the TSS AGE Shop.
  • •Maintain engineering practice and compliance with RSAF Technical Orders, including preparing items for calibration.
  • •Diagnose AGE issues using appropriate test equipment and technical publications, and maintain servicing records for Tornado-dedicated AGE.
  • •Carry out TCTOs and Special Inspections when directed; ensure compliance with tool control processes and procedures.
  • •Monitor supply issues affecting the TSS AGE Shop, provide daily progress briefings, report safety concerns and error management items, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised qualification at NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level (or technical apprenticeship/equivalent) acceptable to M&CA, or a Part 66 licence (current or lapsed) or suitable equivalent acceptable to M&CA.
  • •Saudi Council of Engineering (SCE) registration.
  • •Relevant type training (Q Course) and any required specific training.
  • •At least 5 years post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment (or 3 years on the same aircraft type, or completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme SNTTP/TSNTTP).
  • •Demonstrate aircraft maintenance/engineering knowledge, including human factors, error management, health & safety, and proactive hazard analysis for the role.
