Job Summary

Senior mechanical engineer responsible for the design, development, and production support of mechanical sub-systems for Air Launched Effectors products. Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical ownership and execution of tasks as the primary technical contact for mechanical subsystems from design through production sustainment
•Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and suppliers to model, analyze, and document the design TDP and ensure compliance with requirements
•Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the mechanical discipline
•Lead autonomous efforts on major hardware subsystems and coordinate with multiple functions and suppliers
•Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies for defense system equipment

Key Requirements

•University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in a related field, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
•Experience in ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances) and tolerance analysis
•Experience in CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software
