Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop the Project Welding Execution Plan that defines the full scope of Weld Procedures required, schedule of qualification, quantity of electrodes and materials required for qualification
  • •Ensure that proper priorities relevant to project schedules are established and review progress
  • •Responsible for seeking the review and approval of all Project Weld Procedures through direct and indirect communications with the Customer and Certifying Authority
  • •Work with the Welding Engineering group and Welding department to execute R&D developments projects/goals identified
  • •Maintain contacts with technical groups to maintain updates on developments in welding technology

Key Requirements

  • •MS in Welding; BS Degree (4-year) or IWE or EWE in Welding Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
  • •5+ years directly related to Welding Engineering, Metallurgy/Materials in Fabrication/Construction Industry
  • •Welding Inspection qualification preferred
  • •TQM Education preferred
