Job Summary

Manage payroll processing and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Oversee accounts receivable by issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, posting customer payments, and reconciling the AR ledger. Produce payroll and AR status reports for management review. You’ll support a mission-driven non-profit finance team with strong attention to detail, accounting fundamentals, and reliable communication.

Key Responsibilities

•Process company payroll accurately and on time.
•Maintain and update employee payroll records for hires, terminations, and pay-rate changes.
•Calculate wages, deductions, and tax contributions in compliance with regulations.
•Generate and issue invoices, monitor receivables, and follow up on overdue payments.
•Post customer payments and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger; prepare AR status reports.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25 - 35 hourly

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in a payroll and/or accounts receivable role.
•Strong proficiency with accounting software and payroll systems, and MS Office (particularly Excel).
•Strong numerical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
•Knowledge of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and payroll regulations.
•Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
