Key Responsibilities

  • •Review key process engineering deliverables as part of a multidisciplinary team (PFDs, P&ID, Basis of Design, Data Sheets, Calculations) and ensure alignment with project scope.
  • •Lead all aspects of process design to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
  • •Ensure process design complies with health and safety standards by applying a Safety in Design approach.
  • •Develop project programmes and manage workload within the Process Team, coordinating with other disciplines for integrated design.
  • •Support recruitment, development of the Process Team, and liaison with Delivery Partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered IChemE or equivalent
  • •10+ years as a Process Engineer in the nuclear design sector
  • •Experience leading the delivery of process engineering work packages and mentoring other engineers
  • •Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards; ability to implement Safety in Design
  • •Understanding of NEC contracts; ability to support bids and develop delivery schedules; valid UK driving license; ability to meet UK security clearance requirements
