Lead HW/SW test benches, specify interfaces, pilot feasibility studies and contribute to reusable hardware building blocks, enabling reliable testability across flight-critical systems.
Location: France
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering
Seniority: Sr. Manager level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze electronic specifics of interfaced products (cards, avionics equipment) to characterize signals, power supplies, buses and timing constraints for test architectures.
  • •Provide technical support to test system architects during architecture and design phases of test benches, ensuring electronics realities of the product under test are accounted for.
  • •Define and specify electronic interfaces of test benches: signal conditioning, impedance matching, galvanic isolation, ESD/surge protection, logic level adaptation.
  • •Carry out feasibility studies for electronics (dimensioning stimulus/measurement resources, selecting PXI/LXI instruments, margin verification).
  • •Contribute to standardization of reusable hardware building blocks and feed the technical knowledge base for product policy, reuse, and development plans.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's/Master's degree in electronics/embedded systems (BAC+5) with at least 10 years of experience in avionics or test-system design.
  • •Hands-on experience with electronic signal characterization, interfaces, power supplies, bus communication and timing constraints for test architectures.
  • •Experience with test automation tools and instrumentation (oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, SPICE, PXI/LXI instruments).
  • •Proven ability to lead technical activities of subcontractors in France and/or abroad.
  • •Autonomy, strong listening/communication, analytical mindset, leadership and innovation mindset.
