Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate on a 24/7 shift basis the mission control system, including parts of the ground and space segments.
  • •Assist in configuring and testing the operational system to support ongoing operations.
  • •In the event of an anomaly, apply approved contingency and emergency procedures to ensure spacecraft safety and continuity for users.
  • •Take corrective action as necessary during ground or space segment anomalies.
  • •Support other operations-related activities such as procedure development/maintenance and small system developments upon team request.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with computer systems and strong PC literacy.
  • •Ability to work calmly and accurately under stress and remain self-disciplined.
  • •Willingness to work a shift rota, including night shifts.
  • •Ability to integrate well within a small operations team.
  • •Preferably educated to BSc level in a relevant subject such as IT, Telecommunications, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
