Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments, coordinating with team leaders/project managers and customers. Enforce safety standards, manage service asset accountability, and mentor team members while supporting overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform end-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
•Serve as direct customer contact and diagnose, repair, and service HVAC systems at customer locations to ensure satisfaction.
•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
•Use software/technology and hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Enforce safety standards and mentor team members; remain flexible for overtime and occasional overnight stays as needed.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent (or accredited technical school completion); typically 10+ years of HVAC experience.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone/iPad).
•Demonstrated experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning commercial boiler systems (hot water and steam).
•Strong knowledge of boiler controls, burners, combustion systems, pumps, piping arrangements, and associated safety devices.
•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations; EPA certification is preferred.
