Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Project Manager and an offshore team.
  • •Supervise the ballast tanks integrity campaign for a tension leg platform (TLP): cleaning, inspection, repair, sandblasting, and painting.
  • •Lead teams working in confined spaces and manage service providers and interfaces.
  • •Ensure procedures and safe working practices are followed, and carry out consistent checks to adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • •Lead shift “Toolbox Talks” covering daily work scope and encourage safety culture and motivation among the workforce.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or relevant technical qualification or trades certification.
  • •Extensive experience or engineer-level experience in the offshore energy industry with exposure to fabrication projects for piping and structural components.
  • •Essential experience in similar tank integrity and repair in O&G / Marine environment.
  • •Skills in ships construction/repair and NDT inspection, including welding and construction knowledge.
  • •Leadership and experience managing ship or structural repair, including managing teams and service providers/interfaces.
