Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct prior-art and competitive research and summarize outcomes in reports.
  • •Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data, interpret results, and recommend next steps to the project team.
  • •Coordinate, summarize, and report experimental data to internal teams and partners.
  • •Record and archive data in the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and other databases as appropriate.
  • •Present research findings with recommendations for future New Product Development or Applied Research projects at internship completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Familiarity with working in a chemistry or biochemistry lab setting while adhering to lab safety requirements.
  • •Currently progressing toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
  • •Laboratory research experience with experimental design and quantitative data analysis.
  • •Experience interpreting structure-function relationships to make recommendations.
  • •Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including writing technical reports and making presentations.
