Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead negotiation and structuring of development deals, real estate transactions, and equipment/procurement for infrastructure projects.
  • •Negotiate and manage power-related contracts, including interconnection agreements, electricity service agreements, PPAs, behind-the-meter generation, and related regulatory matters.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate construction and engineering services contracts and supporting project documents.
  • •Support financing structures, tax incentives, complex lease arrangements, and permitting/easement/land use transactions for infrastructure investment.
  • •Partner with engineering, security, procurement, business development, and finance; coordinate with outside counsel while maintaining in-house oversight and risk judgment.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of legal experience (ideally technology/development companies and/or top law firms).
  • •Deep commercial contracting experience for large-scale infrastructure projects, including power-related contracts.
  • •Track record of managing a heavy workload and prioritizing to close transactions on aggressive timelines.
  • •Tech-savvy understanding/interest in datacenters, power, and emerging AI technologies.
  • •JD from an accredited law school, active U.S. state bar membership, and ability to be in-office 5 days/week; ITAR eligibility requirements apply.
