Lead energy yield assessments for onshore and offshore wind projects, overseeing wind resource modelling, data analysis, and method development. Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development of long-term energy yield assessments (P50/P90/P99) for onshore and offshore wind projects.
•Perform wind resource modelling using industry-standard software (e.g., WAsP, WindFarmer, OpenWind, WindPRO).
•Oversee met mast, LiDAR, SoDAR, and SCADA data analysis, ensuring rigorous quality control and uncertainty quantification.
•Provide technical input into site selection, turbine micro-siting, layout optimisation, and design constraints.
•Mentor junior analysts and contribute to capability building within the team.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Renewable Energy, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
•Proven experience in wind energy yield assessment (onshore, offshore, or both).
•Advanced proficiency in resource modelling tools (WAsP, WindFarmer, OpenWind, WindPRO, CFD tools).
•Strong statistical analysis skills and deep familiarity with MCP methods and uncertainty frameworks.
•Experience with met mast and LiDAR data analysis, campaign design, and validation.
