Job Summary

Manage and coordinate railroad track, civil, and structural right-of-way activities across major transportation infrastructure projects through design and construction. Ensure contractor quality, compliance, and timely issue resolution, including early identification of deficiencies. Review field inspector reports, monitor progress and schedules, and support constructability input, change orders, shop drawings, and cost estimates. Oversee commissioning and acceptance documentation and may travel occasionally.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and coordinate construction right-of-way activities, including railroad track, civil, and structural elements, across design and construction phases.
•Ensure quality and performance compliance by contractors and address issues to maintain on-schedule project completion.
•Review daily field inspector reports for contractual compliance and accuracy for commercial documentation.
•Monitor progress and performance, collaborate with contractors and stakeholders, and develop solutions; manage phasing and scheduling.
•Support contract compliance for design/work plans, change orders, shop drawing approvals, cost estimates, and oversee closeout documentation for commissioning and acceptance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent).
•10 years’ experience in Rail Construction.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills and understanding of English.
•Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.
•Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and compliance with health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
