Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as lead attorney for the Federal business, supporting growth across government acquisitions from RFP/capture through compliance.
  • •Perform front-end assessments of business pursuits and analyze solicitations to advise on risk mitigation.
  • •Structure, draft, and negotiate complex agreements including prime contracts, subcontracts, OTA agreements, teaming agreements, and NDAs.
  • •Provide counsel on IP protection, export controls (ITAR/EAR), and security compliance in the Federal landscape, including support for Industrial Security and Insider Threat program.
  • •Handle contract claims, disputes, bid protests, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
  • •8+ years of relevant government contracts experience, with a preference for law firm and in-house experience.
  • •Deep expertise in U.S. Government contracting, including FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements.
  • •Extensive experience structuring and negotiating FAR-based contracts, OTA agreements, and GSA Schedule procurements.
  • •Significant export compliance experience (ITAR/EAR) and ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance.
