Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, coordinate, and direct complex projects or field engineering assignments.
  • •Perform and initiate engineering studies, proposing solutions and using models and data analysis to support improvement programs.
  • •Interface with outside departments, vendors, suppliers, and reliability entities.
  • •Develop or assist with engineering presentations for management and external parties.
  • •Plan and manage group workflow to meet budgets and schedules; mentor less experienced staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and at least 4 years of job-relevant experience.
  • •Strong understanding of distribution and/or transmission systems, including load flow and voltage regulation basics.
  • •Experience with Distributed Energy Resources (DER) such as solar, battery energy storage, or inverter-based resources and microgrids.
  • •Experience using grid modeling and analysis tools such as CYME, PSSE, PSCAD, OpenDSS, or MATLAB.
  • •Proficiency with Excel, Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for data analysis and technical computing.
