Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and maintain a global trade compliance program ensuring adherence to Dutch and international export controls regulations.
  • •Ensure import and export activities comply with EU regulations, including international export regulations such as U.S. and Australian regulations.
  • •Monitor and interpret changes in EU export controls regulations.
  • •Oversee export control classifications for goods, technology, and software, with focus on EU regulations.
  • •Draft and submit export/import licenses and authorisations under Dutch and EU frameworks; coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers and maintain trade records.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management, or proven relevant field experience.
  • •3–5 years of progressive experience in trade compliance, export controls, customs brokerage, or international logistics.
  • •Demonstrable knowledge of Dutch and EU export controls regulations, including the EU Dual-Use Regulation.
  • •Experience with export controls for goods, technology, and software, including classification and licensing/authorisations workflows.
  • •Unrestricted working rights in EU.
