Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement data governance across the Risk and Finance domains in line with BCBS239 requirements.
  • •Drive the Data Governance implementation book of work, including developing the pipeline.
  • •Define, govern, and maintain end-to-end data lineage for prioritised use cases.
  • •Monitor changes to business data requirements and ensure change/release management activities are executed for the data domains.
  • •Investigate data quality issues, develop remediation plans, and make recommendations to fix at source.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge and expertise in data governance, data quality, profiling and analysis.
  • •Working knowledge of BCBS239 in a Tier 1/Tier 2 bank.
  • •Understand complicated data structures and calculations required for risk and finance.
  • •Understanding of the risk and finance data domain, including data governance practices and enterprise data regulatory requirements.
  • •Degree level education (or relevant industry experience), preferably in a quantitative discipline; exposure to Collibra and data governance tools.
