Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other court areas, including accompanying them to the toilet to ensure security and safety (handcuffed if required).
  • •Monitor and supervise detainees during docks to ensure security and prevent risk to self or others.
  • •Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information discussed during court proceedings and demonstrate discretion at all times.
  • •Support detainees by listening to distressing testimonies and evidence while maintaining professional composure and safeguarding own wellbeing.
  • •Complete necessary paperwork and data entry, logging detainee movements and incidents accurately.
