Key Responsibilities

•Design marine environment structures including quay walls, piers, jetties, revetments, breakwaters, fendering, scour protection, linkspan supports, and dolphins.
•Plan, prepare, and ensure successful delivery of project deliverables.
•Use engineering software (e.g., ROBOT, GRLWEAP, WALLAP, TEDDS, PLAXIS 3D) to produce and present calculations to a high standard.
•Review and comment on design, drawings, and specifications to ensure timely and accurate results.
•Mentor staff and assist with tender preparation and cost-estimate planning, including programme and resourcing inputs.

Key Requirements

•MEng or BEng qualified in civil or structural engineering.
•Obtain SC security clearance.
•Significant experience presenting calculations to a high standard and using relevant engineering software.
•Experience checking and reviewing technical specifications, reports, and technical notes to a high standard.
•Experience in construction supervision of maritime structures.
