Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide architectural guidance across the software development lifecycle to ensure security is incorporated early into design decisions.
  • •Define and mature security architecture governance, review methodologies, engagement models, and scalable security standards.
  • •Develop security architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and reusable design patterns to enable consistent secure engineering.
  • •Lead architecture reviews and collaborate on threat models, trust boundaries, data flows, identity patterns, and secure service-to-service communications.
  • •Translate regulatory and compliance requirements (including HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST) into practical engineering guidance, and serve as a trusted advisor balancing security with business objectives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 155,000 - 195,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8–12+ years of experience in security architecture, application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, or senior security engineering supporting modern distributed systems.
  • •Deep experience designing and securing cloud-native applications and infrastructure, including AWS security services and modern cloud architecture.
  • •Strong knowledge of application security, secure SDLC, infrastructure and cloud security, API security, identity and access management, and modern security architecture principles.
  • •Experience performing architecture reviews, security design assessments, and threat modeling for complex distributed systems.
  • •Familiarity with regulated environments and security programs supporting HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST frameworks; professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, GIAC, or TOGAF are a plus.
