Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on alternative delivery projects across Maryland and Virginia, including mega-projects.
  • •Develop design packages for bridge design projects.
  • •Perform bridge design tasks including superstructure and substructure design using conventional reinforced and post-tensioned approaches.
  • •Support foundation design activities such as spread footings, drilled shafts, and HPiles.
  • •Design retaining walls across all types of retaining wall systems.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Engineering plus 2 years of related experience (or equivalent) for Junior level roles.
  • •BS in Engineering plus 6 years of related experience (or equivalent) for Mid-Level roles.
  • •BS in Engineering plus 10 years of related experience (or equivalent) for Senior level / Task Lead roles.
  • •For Structural CAD Designers: BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •EIT certification or PE license preferred; State DOT experience preferred.
