Key Responsibilities

  • •Feed, water, and weigh birds according to schedules.
  • •Clean and disinfect waterers, change and clean nest pads, dust nests, and maintain the egg room and routine housekeeping.
  • •Record data such as egg numbers, bird weight, medications, feed intake, and mortality as instructed.
  • •Observe, grade, and record egg quality, and distribute or dispose of eggs according to Cobb standards.
  • •For egg tables, pick up eggs from the floor and record eggs laid by each hen; support additional animal care and sanitation tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (or 18 months if laid off or providing child/elder care).
