Job Summary

Design and support high-density AI platforms using Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC), serving as a senior mechanical/thermal expert across product and customer operations. Lead customer escalations, troubleshoot liquid-cooling infrastructure (cold plates, manifolds, CDUs, pumps, leak detection), and drive reliability improvements through RCA and CAPA. Partner with cross-functional teams to support NPI, manufacturing scale-up, deployment readiness, and stakeholder communication for next-generation DLC architectures.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead customer escalations and end-to-end mechanical/thermal technical resolution for AI platform deployment and post-deployment issues involving DLC systems.
•Diagnose and optimize liquid-cooling infrastructure issues across cold plates, manifolds, tubing, quick disconnects, CDUs, pumps, flow control, leak detection, and monitoring; validate thermal performance and cooling efficiency.
•Drive reliability improvements via deep root cause investigations (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), analysis of fleet telemetry/failure trends, and design/quality/cost changes.
•Support product development and manufacturing scale-up through NPI, pilot builds, high-volume manufacturing ramps, deployment readiness, and customer data center integration.
•Communicate technical findings, mitigation strategies, and recommendations to customers and executives while maintaining engineering documentation and escalation records (ECR/ECO).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,000 - 151,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) and 5+ years of mechanical and thermal engineering experience, including deep expertise in Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC).
•Strong understanding of AI/HPC platforms, GPU servers, high-density compute, and data center cooling infrastructure/facility-level cooling integration.
•Proven experience in failure analysis, reliability engineering, root cause methodologies, and leading complex customer-facing escalations and field issue resolution.
•Experience supporting factory operations, manufacturing processes, supplier quality management, and product deployment activities in fast-paced global environments.
•Proficiency with CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, NX) and engineering documentation, with executive-level communication and willingness to travel for customer/factory support.
